Also, you can see I am a [M] newb as I don't even know how to use PM. Oh well :) Thanks for the help again! We are probably going to try to cut the top off a clean coupe and slide the cage in whole w/ base plates and all.

Thanks Marc. Probably saved us some sweat, tears and more heart ache and broken dreams haha.

    Hey Spyder,

Was wondering if you could possibly help me with some FC questions.

I have a rust bucket that some idiot put a 6pt cage in (beautiful cage by Chris Howard) from New Hampshire (I should have known better than purchase unseen).

Anyways, I also have an FC vert that I was thinking of trying to transfer the cage to (gonna cut the top off the coupe and cut the car away from the base plates and pull the cage through the top). The lower part of the shock tower in the coupe is a major attachment point for the cage and I was wondering (without pulling my vert completely apart) if the rear shock area on the verts is the same?

I've been over the rx7club and nopistons looking for answers but haven't really found anything. I'm in this with a few buddies and one of them is a rotorhead but he doesn't have much experience in the way with verts either. The vert donor is really nice and we don't want to pull the interior out if it gets us no where.

    Thanks,
    Chris
