Dating someone with opposite schedules

I'm dating someone who has an opposite schedule with me. I work a typical 9-5, m-f and she works weekends and nights usually.

This didn't bother me at first, but we've been dating a long time now and it's begun to bother me more that we don't have as much time to go do much as I'd like.

We've talked about finding jobs, but its become pretty hard for her to find many positions that match her skillsets/pay compared to where she's at now (has been working there a while and making decent money).

I'm just looking for advice/thoughts on people who have been through similar situations.

my ex and i had a similar situation where i was the one working nights and she worked days. Best thing we could do was get together on my days off and after work on the weekends sometimes. try to do the best with what you have.

Agreed. I'm dating a girl now that I really like, but we both are pretty busy, so we only get to see each other now and then. But I really like those times, and she wants me to keep coming back, so I assume she does too. Sometimes it just sucks that it happens this way, but you have to ask yourself if it's worth it to continue.

once you get more time with her, you'll love the time you spend apart.

if you always leave her and wish you had more time with her, it's a good thing.

Agreed on the time we do get together being great. But long term wise I would want more, but I don't think either of our schedules will ever change.

My GF works 3pm tp 12am sat - wed, I work 12am to 8pm thurs - mon. It fucking sucks. The time we have together is great, we always wish to be together more and she always says we need to hang out more. We've been together for 6 months. No advice for you, just sympathizing.
