No manual trans, shit involvement or excitement. He should get a base VW Golf, it has a manual transmission so you feel connected to the car. In other words, the Golf is for badasses..
Looks like someone is feeling upset because they don't drive a manual car.

GhEttOrAiD 09-24-2016 07:43 AM

I like these cars a lot, but they are a little short on power. But so is the miata, and I would absolutely buy this over a Miata.

I believe 2001 and older have a catalytic converter issue where the cat that comes right off of the exhaust side (considered a "precat") melts or clogs or... crumbles somehow and this can cause burnt valves. There might have been a recall done, prob not a big deal to resolve esp because you're in a non smog state.

(Honda motor swap + some kind of race transmission)
Looks like someone is feeling upset because they don't drive a manual car.
But I do, one of the best manuals you can find..Honda Accord Sport.

joemama 09-24-2016 08:31 AM
golf has one of the first "good" auto-manuals, and it would prob be in his price range that's the only reason i brought it up.

Sent from my LG Shitfone using Tapafuck
That's only in the GTI or the TDI...which is no longer for sale in NA. The normal Golf just has a 6 speed torque converter auto which is no better or worse than anyone elses.

BlisterDick 09-24-2016 10:15 AM

O wow, that's lame

a while back I was talking to an old old ex genmayer w/ a ""good"" DSG GTI and he raved about it

BlisterDick 09-24-2016 10:17 AM

The new Honda Civic hatchback will have a manual and a turbooooooooooooo!

It's fugly though, I've taken prettier shits.

Colonel Sanders 09-25-2016 04:16 PM

Yeah, the new Civic is so damn ugly. It has to be the ugliest new car I've seen in quite a while.

Typhoon43 09-26-2016 10:39 AM

It's Aztec Ugly. Not sure what Honda was thinking on that thing.
I purchased this car from the original owner when it had 66,000 miles. It truly drove like a new car and considering the age, the finish spoke of the care it had had. While a fan of the SC400 (I have another one with 28,000 original miles) I also wanted a look of a Corvette so I had the rear end of the car (there was no accident damage to the car) cut off and replaced with 14 ga steel to give a different look. I don’t know if I like it or not but it certainly attracts attention. I was concerned about the drivability with the shorter rear end but it has not suffered at all. I think it handles even better but that could be my imagination since at 77 years of age, I am not much of a hot rodder anymore. The shorter body length sure does make parking lots easier but there is no trunk at all for anything. The spare tire which had never been used lost its space as well. The tires are from Costco with a 70,000 mile warranty and have about 5,000 miles on them. The mufflers were removed and this provides a good deep v8 sound to the exhaust. The lower part of the passenger door got a couple of dents while it was in the shop doing the makeover.
How can someone invest THAT much money (57 dollars) into that rear end mod and not clamp on some chrome tips. Give me this guy's address. I'm going to PIF him some chrome whistle tips for that work of art.

GhEttOrAiD 10-14-2016 01:09 PM

looks like gutter pipe

joemama 10-14-2016 09:06 PM

He didn't do that shit in his garage..

it was done by an real mod shop.:wtf:

and by "real" I mean incompetent as fuck, and if they charged him even a dollar for that abomination it's robbery.
