I like the first video, you can hear the engine over the supercharger. :D

*sigh* Winter... gotta love it. I cleaned the car up today in preparation for getting it stored for the winter, along with doing some items I neglected all year like the door jambs and trim. Came out pretty good I think :D

That is the cleanest MN12 I've ever seen! Looks great and admittedly better than the 93+ models.

Time to go back to the shop for a few months to be the guinea pig for a single turbo conversion

oh boy.. I sooooooo hope it works out for you. Ben there, done that a few times and I ALWAYS regretted not staying Supercharged. It's just so much more complicated, and infinitely more finicky than a belt driven setup. Yes, they make more power, but getting it driveable is a BITCH. It's ironic that now that I've owned so many factory blown vehicles, that EVERY forum I've become a part of has the guys that decide to go Turbo, and EVERY one of them has had issues getting the things daily driveable.

Haha yep, it's a 6062 ball bearing turbo with PTE's "Gen2" compressor wheel. It's rated to 750hp. It should be a great match for the engine because it'll spool pretty quick but the turbo will still have lots of room to grow for my dinky 3.8l Ford V6.

I have enjoyed this thread greatly.
I dig overachieving V6's

You have enough fuel pump and injector for that thing? When I went turbo it went from buying the snail, to then having to buy 8,000 more supporting mods to make sure the engine could take it. The project ran away with itself at that point. So glad I traded that truck at this point

According to the tuner, it should be enough. Personally I have my doubts though. It has 60lb injectors and a 255lph pump now which was more than enough for what it is/was, but I have a feeling we will end up having to swap injectors at least.

We are doing some other stuff like 1.8 rockers and heavy duty double valve springs. He thinks it might make somewhere around 450rwhp getting everything possible out of 93 octane pump gas.

What will happen to the stock supercharger?
