[QUOTE=CanuckDave;20431256]Me neither, thats why I was riding on the sidewalk

its the only way I can get out to the main roads, all the side streets are still full of ice and snow, impossible to get down with a bike.

i got out today 39f and down too 33f at the end. about 2.5 hours of riding and 80miles.
i did have issues at one point with the bike acting up.
but at least i didnt run into too much dirt and salt on the ohio roads like i expected.
i didnt pass any other tards on bikes today at all,i wonder why? lol

flurby 01-28-2007 09:24 AM

it won't stay.

lopoetve 01-29-2007 12:27 PM

yep. it's broke

totensiebush 01-29-2007 04:25 PM

son of a bitch

my bike got knocked down by someone last night. I walked past it today and noticed that the left mirror was pushed back. So, I went and looked closer and the end of the clutch lever had broken off, and was sitting on the gas tank. In addition, the left exhaust can got pushed over far enough to get a decent dent from the swingarm, and will interfere with upward movement of it. The centerstand got pushed over that way too, enough that it takes a bit of force to push it down off the exhaust. This did not happen by itself, because when it has fallen over in the past (managed to put it on the sidestand wrong and fell over about 3 steps later :tard: ) it hasn't done anywhere near as much damage (meaning clutch lever only). Bending the centerstand would not be easy to do. Oh, in addition, it split the exhaust open a bit, so I'll need to do some work to get that fixed so that I don't have a large slit in it. And best of all is that I know somebody did it, because the clutch lever end was on the tank and there is no way in hell that there was enough wind to knock it over.

So yeah, I won't be riding it until I manage to make sure the exhaust doesn't keep the swingarm from working, and that the exhaust isn't absurdly loud (which even an open pipe 250 is - would end up running like shit too).

mushrew 01-29-2007 05:32 PM

=(

i'll go riding with you sometime once you get it fixed, two black ninjas zooming through the bay area

totensiebush 01-29-2007 05:43 PM

 zooming. 250 = waffles. that's in addition to the fact that I don't really have any bodywork left on it, and the gas tank is blue.

plus, I'm in SLO.
