uh oh, boost leak from bipipe... better get on it again and overspeed the turbos...

engine oil level, lol...

also, did he put the wrong pads in without the sensors or is just trying to grind his rotors down a bit?

We put a stock tune back on it and it runs perfectly now

it got to the point where it wouldn't boost at all

did the bipipe or F pipe blow off?

They make sturdy aftermarket replacements for those.

couldn't find anything that had blown off

still dont know why the tune worked for a little while then boost was eliminated completely then 100% resolved by going to a stock tune :ninja:

probably some kind of failsafe system

GhEttOrAiD 04-28-2014 11:24 AM

nobody bothers doing tunes for this type of ecu, its literally either this tune or a stage 1 tune

FFS the car only existed for half of a model year  my friend fucked up so bad and he still wont admit auto was a mistake

but lol

the vid was from one of the 2 dozen or so incomplete home build projects that were overly ambitious and the OP ended up just vanishing... Not much of a community for these cars which sucks. MR2 owners, comparatively, are a lot more active online and a lot more knowledgeable.

In this particular case the guy bought a wrecked M5, bought a clean flawless M Coupe.. tore apart the M5 then... poof... nothing

Could just buy a Z3 for 5-6 grand and the S/C kit for 3950 save yourself two g's and you wouldn't be putting twice the intended power through a 150,000 mile slushbox
