Not long before Obama puts him in jail.

Too much talking, not enough shooting.

That guy rambles on and repeats the same shit over and over..

Still a good primer on the various technologies that have fought our wars for us.

/forgot to mention how us not adopting the lever guns instead of the single shot trap door guns cost us many many lives in our fights with the injuns and others...

Also, the Army's stated reason for choosing the trap door single shot over the repeating lever action rifles is that they thought the dumbass soldiers would waste too much ammunition... killing the enemy...

Go go bureaucracy.

At least they learned, now soldiers get full auto.

actually, most soldiers now don't. Most of us have M4s with burst.

That's the same guy I watched a video from when I was deciding whether to go semi-auto or pump on a Shotgun. The man can shoot. He IS long-winded, but he knows his stuff.

I forget, what'd you go with? Was it a Mossberg or Remington?

Typhoon43 12-07-2012 07:39 AM

Remington 870 tactical.

Weak.
Weak.
Not at all.

In the real world, a standard combat load is 210 rounds. At the full cyclic rate on full auto, that comes out to around 15 seconds of trigger time.

Sounds terrible to mall ninjas and BF3 and COD players I'm sure. But in real combat zones, there are no crates of ammo and health behind the burned out building down the street.

lollersk8s 12-07-2012 08:32 AM

Are you allowed to mod your own rifle? (in any capacity)

Define "mod". And define "allow"

Seriously, I hate to be all Bill Clinton about this, but it honestly does matter for this question. :o

lollersk8s 12-07-2012 08:45 AM

I don't know, hand grips? Custom sights? Full auto?

I figure there's some standard they want you to go by.
