They're getting rid of the 10 day waiting period if you already own another gun. Which only makes sense really. Even if you don't own any guns at all the waiting period can be argued both ways.

BG check/reg is more important for obvious reasons.

So... How do they know if you already own another gun? Are you supposed to bring it to the shop with you, or something?

Well for rifles I don't know, but all hand guns must be registered.

Which is stupid, i think everything should be registered.

Well i suppose a lot of deals can happen under the table, but if you have to legally register everything so you don't get in trouble if you're ever found in possession of unregistered firearm, then by far most people would probably do it the legal way. It's also up to the moral compass of the seller. If the guy is shady as fuck and willing to pay extra to do it illegally then you may sell to someone else. Unless you welcome the money and DGAF then you can use "liberty" as an excuse :p

Just think how cars are sold. There's really nothing wrong with that process. Seller releases liability, buyer assumes it, everything is in order.

HOLY FUCK leright

I'm 100% in support of teaching kids how to shoot and handle firearms safely, but putting a submachinegun in the hands of a 9 year old girl is beyond stupid.

Killer_B 08-27-2014 10:07 AM

what sort of smg was it...mac or micro uzi

those things are hard for ADULTS to handle on full auto.

Welp looks like gun instructor wanted to be put into the darwin awards, thought it'd be a bretty gud manner to achieve said goal.

that's not even the first time that has happened. last time it was an 11 year old at a full auto shoot with an uzi.

kids that age should be paired with a nice bolt action .22, not a full auto SMG.

that's like getting your toddler a fucking ferrari instead of the barbie power wheels jeep.

even a bolt action .22 is more than a kid should have unless he or she has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to safely use a BB gun.

...or skipping the tricycle and bicycle with training wheels and putting a kid on the back of a Suzuki Hyabusa. What could possibly go wrong?
