How do I get my woman to....

... prove it when she says she's bi? She keeps saying it, and goes to tittie bars with the guys, but she needs to prove she likes the rug for real.

end of rant.

why are u so concerned about her being bi? think that will get you an opportunity for a threesome? cause if so, what u do is find a hot bi chick, tell her that your woman is bi-curious, bring her home and surprise your woman. then, it should be put up or shut up time...

Lebowski 01-20-2003 07:23 PM

I'm not expecting anything, just pretty much saying put up or shut up. lol

besides, i wouldn't know where to start?

Soybomb 01-20-2003 07:23 PM

Just because she's bi doesn't mean she's going to sleep around. If shes in a realationship with you and you're expecting her to perhaps you need to talk about what you want? bi doesn't mean promiscuous.

aylaNL4 01-20-2003 07:29 PM

well, being the bi women in question....
lets just get some basics covered.. it's VERY hard to look for other bi or even lesbian women when working in a MALE dominat indrustry, also not being able to go out do to the fact of having a child makes it that much harder...

as far as where to start, Cinammon, a bar always works.. unless your wanting something more perment from this second women... but then, if it is a les u bring home, she wouldn't be the least bit intreasted in you. so :p

Mogwai 01-20-2003 07:52 PM

bwahahaha...

Lebowski, just let aylaNL4 pick out the woman... take her out to a bar on Cedar Springs... seriously... lots of carpet munchers... although a lot of them are militant man-hating dykes... but if you look carefully, you might be able to find some single bi chicks...

Lebowski 01-20-2003 07:57 PM

hell, i'll be happy just to watch.

thegooseguru 01-21-2003 09:49 AM

Leave her alone...just because she's bi, or bi curious, doesn't mena you get to be involved :p

As a matter of fact, I think she's doing the right thing and staying away from girls when she's already in a comitted relationship. :p

Mogwai 01-21-2003 06:09 PM

committed relationship or should-be-committed?

seriously, Lebowski ain't pleasant to look at... I can understand why she's bi! HAHAHAAHA (j/k, bro)

socketman 01-21-2003 07:12 PM

Two interesting points brought up:

1. Why should she have to "put up or shut up"?
2. Lewb said she "keeps saying" she is bi... like its something she confesses often. Why would someone repeatedly say they are bi unless asked? So I vote for leaving her alone about it.

Go out, have fun - if it happens it happens. Thinking about it all the time or obsessing is not a good idea. Look at it this way. Lets say your bi Lewb. Your signficant other wants you to prove it by picking up a guy and having sex with them (presumably while she watches). Would you be comfortable with that?

Exactly, just because she's bi doesn't mean she cheats on someone or is promiscuous.

SexiOne 01-22-2003 03:27 AM

agreed with the group here, I am bi and married, but I've never done serious stuff with chicks and I am not expected to. If anything happens it will happen with myself and my hubby both comfortable with the situation (whatever that happens to be) so just lay off the girl and let things go naturally, just cuz she's bi doesnt mean she has to go around grabbing girls asses just to make you happy.

I always thought that to claim a non default sexuality you actually had to practice it- everyone is heterosexual by default unless are presently practising otherwise. You especially are not a non-default sexality if you've *never* done anything to show otherwise.

An example in english- if you're a guy and have never seriously kissed another guy, never fondled or never had sex with another guy and you said that you were gay I'd laugh at you. It's like claiming you're a champion racing driver and never having driven a race, let alone won one.

So... meaning in this thread? If someone isn't dating a guy and a gal, or seeking partners of both genders at the same time then they aren't bi. Nothing personal SexiOne, but " I am bi and married, but I've never done serious stuff with chicks " means nothing. You're straight. Date a womam, kiss her, fondle her, whack on a strap on and have some fun, then you're bi. Until your husband leaves you anyhow, then you're a lesbian. Otherwise you are a straight practising heterosexual. You're kidding yourself to say otherwise. You apparently haven't even had an bisexual experiences. But it is cool to call yourself bisexual if you're a woman I suppose. Gets lots of attention.

Lebowski- you're wanting her to prove she'll cheat on you? That's a sorry situation. You realise if she does prove she's bi then she has every right to date and sleep around right? You have no right to try and control what she does with other women and she'd probably get mighty pissed if you tried. Really want to open that can of worms? Just be happy you have a girl, drop the wannabe bi aspect.

Vinnie, I disagree. The way I understand it, your sexual orientation is based on whether you're physically attracted to your own or the opposite gender (or both!), and has nothing to do with acting on that attraction. Sex is willful action, whereas sexual attraction is an involuntary biological response. The two can be quite discrete.
