Whaaaat

Him and Andy Wilman (exec producer) have been friends since childhood... so "Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC "following a fracas" with a producer." probably means it came down from the top of bbc?

Bummer... they will probably kiss and make up when they realize how much of a cash cow they're losing though.

In the meantime, I've found a suitable Top Gear replacement: Roadkill, with hosts Freiburger and Finnigan.

interesting never heard of it

Also there's no ad revenue to miss out on bc it's BBC so they aren't losing out as much as History channel would

Yea, Roadkill is pretty good (available on Youtube), Freiburger has been at the auto journo thing for a long time, traversing through the Peterson Publications suite, including a stint in Jeepdom of which he originates.

So looks like the remaining 3 episodes of the series have been scrapped... and BBC is gonna foot the bill on the financial penalties they gonna get slapped with by other networks to whom they promised/sold the episodes.

Also rumors indicate that perhaps Clarkson is going to call it quits with the BBC? HRMMMM!

unfunny scripted rubbish

I hope he ends up doing something some place else. Then again he's old, tired, and quite wealthy.... I remember reading in 2010 he pocketed over 22 million from BBC and royalties. iirc he's the highest paid BBC employee or something like that. I'd probably retire if i were him.

Cody 03-11-2015 02:18 PM

i hope top gear america hires him and fires those other unwatchable faggots
