I've been on the ArchLinux site for a while and I still can't seem to find what desktop environment it uses. GNOME/KDE/Xfce. And how you go about choosing them when their isn't a flavor ISO.

I prefer GNOME but KDE seems to be good as well. Xfce uses less resources but I have plenty of RAM so I could care less. I was looking into the newer Ubuntu 9.04 alpha 5, but ArchLinux looks interesting to me. Could anyone help me out?

edit: Out of the box, when I go through installing (ArchLinux) do I chose one? Also, should I use ext4 or ext3?
Isn't ext4 the next step up in Linux?
