I was trying really hard to decide between Fedora and Linux Mint. I liked Fedora because it seemed like it was on the very bleeding edge as far as always including the most recent versions and stuff, and Linux Mint was attractive because of the cleanliness and everything was there and ready to work right out of the box with no effort.

I tried to install the Fedora 11 Beta ('cause we want bleeding edge, right?) but the installation wouldn't recognize my plain vanilla SATA hard drive... so I'm running Linux Mint now.
