Cold air + Boost = denser cylinder fill, which leans out the A/F ratio. If your timing was locked or knock sensor didn't work the way it should, that's a recipe for toasting a cylinder. I blew my first Rod out of my Lightning because it was a 37 degree night in Florida and my tune was on the edge already with A/F. Only took one full pull to the top of 3rd Gear to lean it out to the point it exploded.
