You won't even get a low end unmanaged dedicated servers for $30 a month. A Managed, Dedicated Server similair to the one I was referring to previously would costs $xxx's.
Try asmallorange.com - they offer a $30 a month package with 4.5GB space and 100GB transfer, and like eNforcer said, they're excellent. You could have a look around webhostingtalk.com, but I warn you that 85% of the companies you see on there are just children in their parents basement overselling webspace that they don't have. Any its also highly biased (as most user-contributed projects are). (oh, and if you are going to use asmallorange, you could put me down as your referrer and get me some free hosting! my domain is dannyg.co.uk) ![]() |

I'm with made2own and recently, the deep discount hosting companies have been making me think of switching. Also, is it me or any other made2own subscribers notice a bit of latency issues?

Dedicated server, either managed or unmanaged is the only way to get that amount of disk space, monthly bandwidth, and good pings/no downtime.
I 2nd the idea of webhostingtalk. The advertising sub-forums ought to have a good deal on a dedicated server.

Check out http://www.superbhosting.net/
We aren't some kids with a colo box. We own two of our own data centers and have 24x7x365 support. Honestly with what you're looking for I would highly recommend you go dedicated. Grab one of our boxes with whm/cpanel if you want to make it easy. |

I'd never trust those new providers. I think a hosting provider should be around for at least a year until they can be considered as legit.
