Need some basic help - moving DNS from EveryDNS to GoDaddy DNS

Hi all!

So, EveryDNS is closing down shop soon, and I have been tasked with moving our DNS back to GoDaddy (who we are also using for our registar).

Now, I've started with a single domain, which has a bunch of CNAME and A and MX and TEXT type records setup on EveryDNS.

In GoDaddy's control panel, I purchased a "Premium DNS" option. In order for you to edit your domain "zone" settings the nameserver needs to be set to GoDaddy's nameserver (which is obvious I suppose), so I did this with my test domain in question.

I then went through in the GoDaddy DNS control panel and setup all of the A/CNAME/TEXT/MX records to match the settings I had in EveryDNS.

Is there all there is for me to do? Is there anything I might be missing?

The thing is, almost right away if I do
I see the GoDaddy domain names, however I purposely left out a few subdomains of the GoDaddy zone settings (for instance but they are still working... Which makes me think that even though whois is reporting the new Nameservers, the new settings haven't actually taken effect?

I know there is supposed to be a lag when things are switching over, but it's been a few hours.

Is there anyway I can test these things out sooner rather then later?

Thanks for your help all!!!
