Looking for a set of workboots

I'm starting an internship in a week, and they required safety shoes. Since I'll be on my feet all day, they need to be comfortable. In order to qualify for thier reembursment program, the shoes must meet ANSI Z.41.1-1967 requirements. I'm sure thats any steeltoe boot, but I'm not sure. My feet also sweat alot, so they need to breath. Does anyone know any boots that might fit the bill?

Thanks

I have some Dakota work boots, they are the 'Metal Free' model, with composite toe. Meets all the standards and what not here. Super light and comfy. I wear them to take the dog for rums in the winter.

My feet get kinda sweaty in them from time to time though.

i just got some work zone shoes today.. but i was limited to $75 for my shoes.. the $175 shoes looked WAY more comfortable... but i sit at my desk all day... and i don't walk around..

but i hear.. the red wing shoes are way comfortable

just go to a safety shoe store and tell them what you need. they'll tell you want you need.

I'm co-oping at the construction site of a new power plant starting next week and I picked up a pair of Wolverine composite toe boots for $100. They are very flexible and light compared to the heavier boots I looked at like some offerings from Caterpillar. I was going to go to the Red Wing store also but decided to go with these since they were so comfortable and a good value.

Danners are primo boots... i want a pair so bad.

I have a pair of Schmidt 8"ers.. for 80 bucks, they are probably one of the more comfortable pair of boots i have owned... but i doubt they will last as well as the Lacrosse and Georgia boots i have owned in the past.

Red Wing and Chippewah boots are good too.. i don't really like the styling on most of them, but they are very comfortable
