Even if it was the ammo's fault the gun should not be that badly damaged. I've seen about a half dozen kB's like that in various guns. It is bad brass. In most cases it just blows the magazine out the bottom and gives you a nice welt on the palm of your hand. Afterwards the shooter gennerally has to change their underwear. There was a bad batch of 9mm dillion once fired brass that was doing this. It even kB;ed in fully supported barrels.

Ive seen two kB's where the gun blew up. One was a HK USP which like a glock has a partially supported chamber and polygonal rifling. The slide split. The cause was a double charge, and a dirty barrel.

I also seen a nice wide body 1911 kB. Slide cracked, again a double charge.

Really? That's unfortunate.
Plenty of good older rimfire revolvers out there. Love my sa/da S&W 22lr and 22wmr.
Funny how people 1st react when I shoot the 22wmr. Big flash.

What brand ammo does everyone reccomend for the buckmark? The remington is the cheapest, being 1.50 for a box of 50... in my .22 rifle though, these would jam sometimes, maybe its just the gun... also, winchester? ...how about federal?

You should be able to feed anything through a good .22 - stick to buying the 500 round bulk packs and find one you like.

I found boxes of 500 remington for 14 bucks.... cheapest out there, and they look like they've improved over the years.

Its not THAT bad.
shit if you want expensive start shooting eley tenex or federal ultra match.

but i assure the stuff WILL fire consistantly, ive won bullseye matches with my buckmark shooting the stuff. Also see if you can round up some aguila SE (super extra)its pretty good stuff also. It should be cheaper too.

Just stay away from that Thunderbolt crap. They coat the lead with wax which will foul like a mother.
