Guess it depends on where it spilled, especially on a wireless keyboard. I've taken numerous keyboards apart and washed them with soapy water with excellent results, but I kept the little circuit board out of the loop and I've never done it with a wireless.

yeah i've always had badluck with soda spills. the syrup left behind after it dries up gunks everything up, and keeps your buttons shorted together...

water should be ok tho, you shouldn't really use it while it's b0rked like that tho

bah I left it under the hairdryer for about an hour, put batteries back in and now it wont connect no matter waht I try

so I'm back to my old logitech beater keyboard it sux im used to having split keys
