Wow.. stupid woman went to grab/hug him...

I always stop to the side of a car instead of behind and try to watch my mirrors. My bike is taller than most bikes, so the ending would be a bit more painful than that for me..

Edit: she was at an angle toward him at the point of impact, did she just saunter into that lane from the left as if he wasn't there?

She probably slammed the brakes and tried to turn at the moment of impact....too little too late.

Made it 37 seconds in with that music...is that a record? Do I get a prize?

Sweet video, but like so many others on the web, ruined by music.

Yeah, I muted that shit.

Just wanted to get a little preview on braking points, track layout, etc...

yeah, I pulled mine outta storage for today as well. Though with all the fucking snow we had, everything is soaking wet. Haven't been able to stretch its legs at all because I'm afraid there will be ice underneath every puddle yet.

Yeah, it was nice having a glimpse of spring a couple weeks early.
At least by the end of the month/beginning of March it typically stays above freezing during the day.

Honestly, the cold doesn't bother me too much. I'm just terrified of ice.

Been raining and super humid here for this whole week. The wet roads freak me out, but im getting more comfortable.

Hopefully it will clear up next week, but stay cool.

Took mine apart on Saturday; cleaned the chain, fixed some loose relays, as well as an intermittent ground situation that was causing a stall every time I hit a bump. Also did a full cleaning of it, including the engine.

Also got these today:

I've got a radial master cylinder from a CBR1000RR waiting to go on with them, assuming everything fits together as intended.

In the coming months I'll need to prepare for a valve check and adjust shims accordingly, new chain and sprockets as well as a coolant flush. I'd love to pull the header and get it ceramic coated as well, but I doubt it'll happen anytime soon. I also have a weird ticking noise, like an exhaust leak, but I can't feel any air escaping around the header. Though they are rarely an issue, I'll be checking the chain adjuster when I do my valve check.

Alright, this has been bugging me for too long: can anyone name a good reason to not want a BMW F800ST? I mean, aside from thinking it's ugly and wanting a bazzilion hp, I think it looks like the perfect blend of light enough to handle in the city/traffic, fast enough to manhandle Mercs on the Autobahn, economical enough to be a smirk douchbag about it, with enough (but not too much) plastic to do highway speeds without getting tired and enough room for a passenger. Also, it has a freaking beltdrive!

So, dear Blog[M]ay, should I start saving my pennies or am I being a total derp?

pic for reference:
