Pretty much. Every time he farts or puts a sticker on a car he thinks that's "content". He is good at cars, BTW.

Cars, and vaping.

Should we talk him into snorkeling his exhaust into the cabin of his roadster so he can ///M-vape?

If he protests, we can all re-assure him how cool it is, and how fucking retarded it would be if he DIDN'T do it, start a poll about it on various other forums that have l33T beemer skillz, and just wait for the inevitable?

Say no more

The filter replacement is kind of cool. Comes with fresh O-Rings as well. And the fact that Mercedes states the oil pan bolts (I have 2 sumps) and washers are non-reusable, means I have to order 2 bolts and 2 washers every oil change as well. CRAZY GERMANS!

have you considered a topside vacuflush system? They are pretty great, you don't even have to take off the bottom pan. You warm the engine up a little, then stick a tube down the dipstick hole and it sucks all the oil out. While it's doing that you change the filter and then when it's done you just fill and put dipstick and the cap back on.

Done it a few times on my der audi and it works great.

this is what i use but it has a manual pump

I just drip in a little extra oil from my previous change to make sure that most of the nasty stuff gets sucked up

The Benz guys argue over this all the time, because the factory does it this way on a lot of Mercs, but the W211 AMG versions have a front sump and rear sump. The draw out method has been shown to still leave quite a bit of old oil in the engine, so I do it the manual way.

You can not vacuum (you can but the motor has 2 sumps so you will have 1-2 quarts left in engine) an E55K it has 2 drain plugs and must be drained from below as per AMG. The drain plugs are a one time use plug and must be replaced after removal. Mercedes and AMG have a special service advisory about this

So, it has two drain plugs?
