I'm drinking this rare shit. It tastes like shit, so I'm guessing it's not for export.

Shit.

I know the oldschools are '05.. and if you can let a palo santo (+ other headiness) age for a year or more, the differences are amazing

why would one collect beer? my understanding is it doesnt get finer with age

Many non-pasteurized beers will age and ferment like wines. They make "cellar beers' just for this. Even Holy Mackeral states it can be cellared for a couple of years. Not my cup of tea personally, but it can be done. I like drinking shit too much
Visited the folks in Oregon a couple of weeks ago and drilled all of these in 2 days. I do love a good Double IPA

And the Rogue Voodoo Doughnut is fucking HORRIBLE by the way.

if you have the right beer they sure as hell do. My boss gave me a Westvleteren 12. I have pretty happy seeing as it's the best beer in the world (ratebeer). I had it that night, it was from this year, and it was... alright.

A couple years ago i was visiting my bro who has about 30 of these beers aging. When i had one there it was aging for about 3-4 years. and it was fucking amazing. 2 totally different beers.

no man hipsters have been going crazy about it and gotten totally snobby about it. never really understood it. then a bar i used to go to all the time that i used to drink guiness at now exclusively serves craft beer on tap. regular beers are only bottle only.

so i broke into it. $5 per piint and it's good

i like

blue berry blue point
cappucino stout
young's double chocolate
empire cream ale

but at the end of the day i'm not really one to drink for the taste anyway would rather savor some scotch or wine or rum for the taste

i'll still drink budweiser and people who take that shit too seriously and refuse to drink budweiser all the time are annoying.

is all i'm saying

Ive had a few maple smoked beers that actually taste good like 'left hands: smoke jumper' but rouge is like the fisher-price of brewing so instead they crafted fucking sink-water in a pink bottle, also known as pre-vomit.
