Would you buy a fleet vehicle?

Looking to get a bigger vehicle, and I found a 2006 Ford Escape w/ 80k on the odometer (23k miles/year )

Pulled the carfax and it's clean with service records reported every 8k or so.

Price is high at $11,350, but I would try to negotiate down to about $9,600 (~15% reduction for it being a fleet vehicle).

Should I check it out tomorrow or walk?

Well... fleet cars are usually sold MUCH cheaper than that.

My dad gets a company vehicle; and since he knows I'm always on the lookout for something interesting, he gives me prices on vehicles that come up.

These vehicles are first offered to employees/family, and then sold on AutoTrader to the public:

2008 Grand Caravan SXT (43K) - $8500
2006 Ford Fusion 2.3L SE 5-speed (89K) - $5500
2006 Pontiac G6 GT (65K) - $5950
2006 Ford Escape XLT 4WD (95K) - $7500

These cars are all maintained meticulously and are driven by upper-level management and executives. They're taken care of; I'd rock one.

However, rentals? Fuck that. I'd run far, far away. Speaking of which, $10K including taxes for an '06 Escape with 80K seems high.
