Meth hydrolock.... Any damage?

I have a scirocco with a tdi from an 86 jetta swapped in it... with meth injection wired in.. it's suppose to give it a squirt at 10 psi, and has worked until now.

Anyway, long story short after work today my car started driving like crap and smoking, so I turned it off, heard a humming, and saw that it drained all of my windshield wiper fluid into the turbo upon inspection

Drove 60km home... absolutely no problems

I tried to turn it over and it cranked for a sec then got stuck / hydrolocked.

After 10~ times of trying to turn it over it finally started cranking slowly.. Ran out of battery / got a boost and got it started with alot of smoke. Seems to run fine. Good oil psi, turbo spools up, no weird noises that I can hear (they're loud.)

Is there any long term damage that this could have done?

Main concern is if it did any damage to the turbo, or premature where to the rods... would I know if one got bent?

You squirt pre turbo? Do you have an IC?

I'm guessing if anything is wrong with your engine, even a bent rod, you will know right away.

bent rods possibly.

if it was truly hydrolocked 1 of 2 things.
A) The meth injection leaked past the rings into the oil pan
or
B) Bent rods.

get an oil change and keep an ear out

The engine has under 10,000km on it so the rings are pretty good....

PO did the meth injection and it appears to go into the top of the pre turbo part.

I tried to listen for anything weird and can't find anything. The car starts on a dime and purrs like a kitten

I doubt you did any damage. You were just trying to start the car with a bad mix in it. Prbly similar to water in your gas.

The engine was litterly locked up though, it took a lot of key turning to get it to move.

And it emptied the ENTIRE washer tank which is quite a bit.

If cranking turned it over it wasn't locked up.

I've locked up an engine with a blown head gasket that was leaking coolant into cylinders before while trying to crank it over. Never caused any damage to the motor. With the starter trying to turn the motor over don't think there is enough force to break anything. If the engine was running and it locked that could be a different story. Should be fine..

Should have pulled the spark plugs as soon as it was struggling to crank and cranked it over that way.

it's the normal place to put methanol in your engine bay.

borrow a diesel compression tester and change your oil, the compression tester will tell you the true story

you're telling me the glow plugs don't come out then? Improper wording or not its still a better plan than continuing to crank on it.
