Using the "roids" term so loosely to cover your insecurity about me taking care of myself for someone of my age? Jelly since I posted that pic?

i'd never ride a wal-mart bike, and both of my bikes totaled $3k new. that said, i'd say 80% of bikes i see people riding by the beach are in the $50-150 range.

Just bought $400 in r/c crap, didn't even get a new truck or anything. 2-speed tranny, chassis mounted steering with panhard bar, driveshafts, shocks, battery, and miscellaneous parts like new spider gears for the front diff and what not. This is for my scx10 chassis Bronco. Going to completely strip and rebuild it, which I do every couple years. This thing has some miles on it- worn out a set of crawler tires, on my third motor, third set of wheel bearings, fourth set of driveshafts, ect.

It works perfect right now, hasn't been used much since it's last rebuild, but I geared it too low so I never drive it.

You could always get poly shocks for small savings
That's what I'm going to do anyway on some spots

Bushings are gonna cost me way more than what I spent on that bilstein b 12 kit which is struts and springs
