I dont' want to change for other people, I want other people to change for ME damnit

We really don't need more sub forums here.

So, as a concept, that I would love to see here, is a mixed media electronic arts forum. Not one for the posting of works by others, but the for posting of works by Genmayers. Give it a name like Creative[M]ay, or something.

By electronic arts, I'm not just talking Chops here. This is a forum for Writers, graphic artists, 3d artists, musicians, everyone, to talk about their craft, get pointers from others, and post up some of their work.

For instance, I know that there must be more than a few [M]'s that do creative writing. We really don't have a place for something of that nature. Along with that, photoshop work that really doesn't fit the bill for chops, but instead is more along the lines of commercial or artistic graphic art, as well as talking about different ways and means for doing different things in photoshop and other programs. Plus, I'm sure there are a ton of Lightwave/Maya/etc users out there who would like to swap stories and tips for their useage of such 3D software.

And let's not even forget our musicians, who can discuss their craft, especially the musicians who create their content almost 100% electronically. What type of mixing software they use, how they use it.

I think a forum like that, that would have a 100% utility, along with posting some great creative content, would actually go a long way here.

I like this idea a lot. I try to do some creative writing every now and then and whenever I post something in here it gets locked before I get more than the 2 or 3 normal first posts of "Go die in a fire" and shit like that.

This is probably because I am generally a tool though and my creative writing probably sucks balls. But I still like the idea.

Meh.

is always helpful, not especially fast but always helpful. Babe forum is ok, games has slowed down a fair bit which is a shame, automay is still pretty busy right? WMD and Photomay are the least visited, along with the meat locker.

Ok a lot of them are slow then

Yeah, if you're into 6 months of down time followed by a month and a half of people ruining their lives with the game and then beginning again.
