Also in Indiana, carrying a rifle/shotgun isn't probable cause for being pulled over/ID'd. There's a small handful of places we cant visit with firearms, but it's nothing to be concerned about.

All of this took place in the super-liberal county next door to Chicago, too.

all the firearms I carry are loaded. they don't do any good unloaded, do they? we don't have such nonsense laws in my state.

How hot does the head on an aircooled I4 get, you think? I'm planning on buying some thicker walled rubber plumbing couplings and chopping them up to make little dampeners to stick in the cooling fins, but I worry about it melting.

I would guess not more than 300░F. I still have most on mine on my air-cooled Duc. McMaster should be able to help with the different plastics/rubbers and temperature tolerances.
