SAE30R9 Hoses that came with in-tank fuel pump

I bought 3 fuel pumps in the past. They all come with the SAE30R9 fuel hoses, which is rated for fuel injection, but not for submerge use. I had to learn the hard lesson what SAE30R9 hose would do in the gas tank as the first SAE30R9 hose I used literally melted in 4 days inside the gas tank. Did my search the, and SAE30R10 is the correct hose for submerge use.

I just bought a carquest fuel pump, and it came with a SAE30R9 hose!!

Why are they giving you a fuel hose that is not rated for submerge use when you're buying an in-tank pump? Yes, SAE30R10 hose is about 6 x the price as a SAE30R9 hose, but giving out the incorrect rated hose is worst than giving nothing at all!

I'm not surprised to be honest. Silicone is not rated for use with oil or gas vapors or even exposure to either substance yet every tuner can't wait to exchange their intake and PCV hoses with silicone replacements. Even better, they pay a huge premium for the privilege of using a sub-par product.

Carquest isn't autozone. The previous pumps were walbro.

1) Fluorosilicone hose is rated for oil exposure.
2) a "huge premium" maybe compared to unformed rubber lines, but is usually cheaper than OEM preformed lines.

//tuner with fluoro-silicone hoses for oil returns on his turbochargers, PCV system, idle air system, oil cooler system, and power steering system and yet not a single leak or sweaty hose to complain about
