Safe to delete these files off my new laptop?

I have no idea what the purpose of these text files is, nor the "G60J_WIN7.10" or "RECOVERY.DAT". Are these safe to delete?

How about just leaving them alone?

You can delete all of those files.

Also, if it's brand new might I recommend Decrapifier?

Some of the text files might come back when you open whatever application is associated with it.

yeah man you have a 2 gb hard drive every kb counts

may i suggest a program that i wrote specifically for this purpose?

shameless plug:

http://192.168.11/youarearetard.exe

it passively scans your hard drive in the background to check for redundant files and stuff. be careful while playing solitaire though, it may slow it down

Are you OCD? How often do you click on the fucking C drive that you notice that it's "sloppy"?

Move the files to a new folder, reboot, see if Win 7 shits the bed. If not, you are probably okay. Test some applications out, and if those work, then you're probably in the clear.
