Windows 7 Took a dump

So I was installing Formula 1 2010 from an ISO, when it started being funny 'setup.exe can't be found' etc, even though it was on the CD. When you tried to launch it directly, there was an equally as strange error message that I forget.

Then *boom* I get a bluescreen, but one that has never been witnessed before???!

STOP: C0001119 Unknown Hard Error
Unknown Hard Error

I've googled it and there is /nothing/ on this error at all. Google just says no.

The problem I have now is the computer is stuck in a continuous loop going into start up repair, and it just keeps saying Cannot repair this computer automatically.

The actual message is

Problem Event Name StartupRepairOffline
Sig 01 6.1.7600.16385
Sig 02 6.1.7600.16385
Sig 03 Unknown
Sig 04 21200525
Sig 05 AutoFailover
Sig 06 9
Sig 07 CorruptFile
OS Version 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID 1033

Any ideas? Raging over this now So annoying/unexpected.

I would have to wonder...Or the program itself was a poorly coded piece of border collie shit, to begin with.

Its /really/ bizarre. It's F1 2010, I lost my disc but have my CD Key so I downloaded the ISO ages ago. I installed it 3 or 4 times about 3-4 months ago without a problem, try it now and it caused weird slow downs/problems, can't find setup.exe, memory errors, and apparently now had virus related content AND spyware :/

I managed to find a vanilla copy though so all good.

This is the primary reason I don't mess with the mexican version of applications/games anymore; One just simply has ZERO idea if the stuff they're getting is clean or not, and usually it's a fucking pain to keep the shit patched even if is clean, with the advent of activating things now.

Between identity theft, and obtaining more zombie PC's for botnets, it's clear money's to be made here....Obligatory "People that continue to go down to Juarez for their software needs are being carelessly moronic and are asking for it" statement here, and shortly afterwards, the soapbox has been vaporized.

There, we can be friends again.

Unfortunately, this means they have us all by the nads now, because we can't get legit secondhand copies for cheap anymore, and thanks to the spammers hijacking our precious juarez wagon, there is no such thing as decent inexpensive computing anymore.

To be honest shit on steam is so cheap now I don't even pirate any more.

Managed to find a vanilla copy of f1 to juarez. Shame you can't use ANY game CD key and get it recognised on steam that would be epic
