HOLY FUCK I AM RETARDED

I'm bored so here's what I need to fix on my car

Figured ill make a list, let you guys know how a 14 year old BMW holds up in case anyone cares. If nobody does that's ok too.

-Fan controller won't work on anything above half speed. $40

-Trunk latch: one of the mounting tabs broke so it's floppy. Trunk works but not long before the remaining tab breaks off. ~$50 for new latch. E36 with spoilers suffer from this. The balance point of the hinge changes with the extra weight and slams way harder than non-spoiler lids.

-Clock LED died. $0 because who cares.

-Hood struts won't hold the hood up. I use a 2x4. $35 x2

-One of the LEDs died in the 3rd brake light bar in the spoiler. May as well solder a new one in.

-Power seat tilt broke, but in the exact position that i like. So I'll probably leave that alone.

Fucken nickle and dime eurocars amirite

for the hood struts, either keep a vise grip in the car, or drill a hole through one of the piston rods so you can cotter pin it to keep the hood open.

My 142k miles Civic needs... engine mounts. And I think one of my e-brake cables is a little sticky. Oh, one the lights on my dash is out, but it's the rear window defrost button. Like I'm gonna fix that.

It also needs a tune, engine management is actually the next thing I really should do, since my car needs a set of cams to replace the faulty set that's in it.

That's a good idea but that stupid rod is really thin and plated with something, maybe hardened?

They sell these small screw clamps that my friend uses in his shop for times like this.
