Best bug out bag

What would [M] reccomend for a bug out bag?

Edit: not the contents, the bag itself

I think you need both a vest and a molex backpack. The backpack needs some sort of hydration bladder system.

$7 black nylon duffle bag at walmart, the shoulder strap is crap, but the handles are good and you can stick your arms through both and it's a backpack. it'll hold 50-60 lbs easy and unpacked you can fold it up zip it closed as small as a cd case and put it in your pocket.

yeah depends on what level of bugging-out you're planning for. Getting out of dodge till things calm down? Or GTFO and never coming back? I have 3 different bags (in various stages of completeness) one for immediate survival necessities, first aid, calorie bars, water purification, knife, radio, flashlight, etc. and a bigger one that the smaller one goes into, with cash, clothing, calorie bars and MRE's, ammo, etc. and then a larger camping box that goes with the rest if leaving by vehicle and not planning on coming back.

I picked up a decent backpack, a gear bag and a duffel bage from http://www.tommysgunpack.com/ keep an eye on that site, they offer 60% off everything quite frequently. The quality is okay, not high-end REI or Northface type stuff, but for the price it can't be beat.

Why is countrycomm so inexpensive compared to maxped?
How is the quality of their gear?

I don't own any CC bags , so i couldn't tell you . I use a bag from High Sierra , i was going to pick up their Force Multiplier bag but they ran out of black and it seems they aren't going to make more . From what i've read CC is good for the price , they aren't as good as Maxped products .
