Blocked sites at work (WMD Related)

OK, so does anyone here have any GOOD reason why work would block gun and knife websites?

Its fucking annoying as hell.

Fake Edit: Forgive me if this is to be considered in the wrong forum, its just feels more appropriate here...

hmm... maybe b/c you should be *working* at work

the funny thing is my job is considering allowing access to all these social networking sites since some overpriced consultant just told them that the millenial generation apparently can't work successfully without their hourly facebook fix

My company blocks most weapon sites, but amazingly, the Texas CHL forum site is accessible, even though they "prohibit" chl's from carrying at work.

RDP/VNC into your home computer. Problem solved (unless it's blocked).

And if those ports are blocked, you can always use a site like logmein.com which will do basically the same thing in a web browser window.
