ITT we post pictures of impressive war memorials

I'll start. I saw this on Ewan McGgregor's Long Way Down, it struck me as a particularly impressive monument. It's the Commando Memorial located in the Scottish highlands.

edit: please also mention which monument it is that you're posting since not all of them are as obvious as this one.

In relation to the above:

High water mark of the Confederacy

Where Armistead was killed

Something that's always puzzled me about the battle of Gettysburg is why is Longstreet often viewed in a negative light? They don't teach this stuff in schools here in Europe, but from what I've read it would seem he foresaw that Picket's charge would end up in a trainwreck yet Lee was persistent to go forth with his plan. Maybe some of you Americans can educate me on this.

Warsaw Uprising monument in Warsaw, Poland. For the record this was not the Jewish Ghetto uprising, but rather a massive uprising throughout the city by all sorts of people.

All the candles are because these photos were taken right around the day of the dead.
It's located just outside the Supreme Court.

Notice the equipment and uniforms being used is German, Russian and anything else.
