I've gone over a couple of times too. Not by much though, maybe 10-25gigs and they haven't said anything.

i went over a few times. was threatened with being dropped as a customer.

then i realized i didn't need to archive all the porn online and haven't gone over since.

It also depends if your node is over or under subscribed. If your not taxing it then they usually don't say anything.

Comcast seems to be pretty lenient. I haven't had any issues despite my heavy flow on a monthly basis...

It's a soft cap. There are people who regularly go to 300 GB to 800 GB and never hear a thing from Comcast. And some people get the call after only going 1 or 2 GB over. It just depends on how congested your node is and if you have a competitor in the area.

.... where do you store it all. This is coming from someone who does about 1-2tbs a month maybe 4 months a year, with the rest of the months at 700-800 gigs.

17TB in 2 years?

i'm only at 4.5 TB in 1.5 year. I thought I downloaded a lot too!
