I've been loving this game. Well worth the $15 I spent. Would love to see more maps down the road, even if they're DLC this might be the first reason for me to purchase DLC levels for a game. Been playing with Potatowned and a few others when I catch them online.

Only issue so far is I keep getting "game not available" notifications sometimes. Also trying to join friend's games I get the same notifications. Looks like it's being worked on though.

GT is Garzilly, add me people.

I wanted to make another quick point. Going into this game I was skeptical. I too played 1942 for many many years and logged countless hours into it. The idea of playing this game on a console was terrifying to me. I gave it a shot and boy am I glad I did.

I'm getting better and better with the analog sticks and for $15 this can't be beat. I'll probably end up getting the PC version too when it comes out, but those of you waiting it out for the PC version, if you've got a capable 360 laying around, you'll be doing yourself an injustice not picking this game up..

Would be nice to figure out what I'm doing wrong though.

Flying in first person is a lot easier for me. Try that because when I fly third person I usually end up flying into an ocean or tree. The only time I switch views is to drop bombs, I think third person is best for that so I can gauge where I am as to where i'm dropping the bombs.

It has to be exactly like the map I posted because from my memory, it doesn't look like they changed the other maps at all.
Coral Sea is like the all-jet maps in DC: the control points are in the sky and you stay near them to cap them. Watch the video if you want to see how they have it set up.

The jeep flipped several times in the air towards me and landed just near me at a house. The house and jeep were completely destroyed. I just started yelling at the top of my lungs in excitement!

Some questions though:
1) How do you steer the planes? I figured out how to accelerate and torque up and down but I couldn't make turns well at all. Also, how do you look behind you?

2) To change spawn points, is it really the right stick? So many times, I kept trying to change points to no avail, even though we did have them captured.

3) How do you join squads? Is there a button you need to press in order to talk? I didn't talk or see one squad member my whole time playing.
when you join the game press b to select a squad, unsure of any other way to achieve this

for spawn points press y to use the right stick
y again to return to kit selection

im loving it so far, first fps ive properly played on the 360 really.

ohhhhh ya, that is gay. So it just puts you on a team and you can't switch? even if it's unbalanced? Ya that is pretty weak.

Yeah, if people leave, that team is pretty much screwed... anyone know what the 360 Kill Count is up to? Have we reached the 43 million yet?

BTW, I discovered today that if you press start, you can go to MY SQUAD and manage it including leaving your current squad or inviting people in. I found it today and felt so dumb. My friend says it isn't to effective though so we will see.

It isn't. It puts you in a random squad, and if you try to leave it and find a new one, it puts you in the same one. That's why I said just invite your buddies when you're all in-game and that'll put you in the same squad.
