Ideas about what is ailing me.

I have an extreme sore throat, but no other symptoms.

Strep is usually accompanied by a high fever, the cold would come with a fever and/or congestion.

Lymph nodes are all not swollen.

Don't tell me to go to a doc, I'm already scheduled for tomorrow. I'm just curious if anyone has any brilliant diagnosis before then.

Funny, I've felt the exact same way for the past few days. There's definitely something going around. Probably nothing to worry about. But if I don't feel better by tomorrow I'll probably call the doc.

I'm just going in for a strep test.

Could be post-nasal drip? That stuff can be a bitch.

I've also had strep with every symptom but the sore throat...fever, headache, body aches. They did blood tests and strep tests cuz they had no idea what was wrong with me and it turns out I had strep. Weird.

OH MY GOD!!! I LOVE SUCKING COCK!!!!!

I get sore throats from:

- Excess milk induced flatulence
- Lack of sleep
- Yelling lessons, ie drill
- Extended instructing in anything else
- Cold
- Flu
- Virus induced vomiting... fuck that hurt and they would not even give me anything for my throat
- Extreme levels of pollution, ie Middle East air

Feel free to pick a few and self diagnose.

There are a million different viral infections that could cause this, and theres nothing really that you can do except for rest and fluids and general immune system support. Your doctor will probably go ahead and give you antibiotics (which is pointless since it sounds somewhat viral, bacterial usually presents with other symptoms.) Unless you just want to take them, ask him if you really need them.

After PT, I feel like milk. However, if I drink milk during the mornings, I get a fair bit of bloating and flatulence. For some reason it gives me a bit of a sore throat too. I have no idea what the connection is, but it does.

Not lactose intolerant, I can drink litres of milk in the evenings, but in the morning any really fucks up my day.

That's so weird... My grandpa is lactose intolerant, but it only affects him at certain times... He eats a bowl of cereal everyday and he can tell if it will affect him throughout the day just from the milk in the bottom of the bowl... maybe there's a connection there? I dunno, just a guess!
Haha, this also sucked for him as a kid, bc he grew up on a dairy farm
