Not as fast as a skateboard/scooter, but I can move faster than pedestrians if I want/need to I also just got it today so we'll see how much easier it gets after I get accustomed to it. I gotta think though, that since its for temporarily disabled people trying to recover from an injury, that it's designed so people don't carried away with it.
