First off, it's a Pentium M, not Pentium 4-M. Second, why would you pay $3750 for a laptop and NOT get an extended warranty. That's an awful big gamble.

P4M is fairly medicre especially if only 2.0Ghz. I hope you mean Pentium M

760 is a P-M model number, not a P4-M

I'm trying to figure out how everyone is saying it's such a ripoff. The price may be a little high, but you're going to spend a lot of money if you want all of that in a laptop.

I mean come one, it has a 17" UXGA lcd, a gig of DDR2 ram, 100gig harddrive, 8x Dual-Layer dvd burner, 256mb video card..... plus more. Those kinds of components are not cheap
