I would also love this, as I now have an SKS in my room.

I will take pics of breaking down my Auto Ordnance 1911A1 tonight when I get home from work (about 3 hours or so). I will the others as well.

1911A1
SAR-1 (AK-47)
SKS
S&W 59
Colt Peacemaker
1851 Colt Navy (If I can find the tool)
Rem 870
Ruger 10/22

I'm only promising the 1911A1 for right now

Change of plans. Cam batteries are charging. Will do the pics another day unless someone beats me to it.

bastage, making me take my own pics for everyone else

I probably did a few things in the wrong order, and for some reason, i flipped the safety off while taking off the trigger assembly, it didn't like that.

Welcome to the worst tutorial!, its late, i have pics, and no sleep yet.

***Make sure you're in a clean place, without cats sniffing your parts, laying lots and lots of fur all over the gun*** (Now I have to take it apart again tomorrow, RE-CLEAN it, and make sure no damn cat fur is in it)

Rifle all locked up/kid proof

SKS Cleaning tools from the butt of the stock

First, turn the "key" on the right hand side of the receiver cover upright.

Remove the cover (oh yea, if you have it cocked, or whatever you want to call it, watch out for the spring flying back at you), continue to remove parts (its late, words/names are failing me)

Next, remove the Gas tube, first locate the lever on the right hand side of the rear sight

Turn it about 45 degrees upward so that the bottom "circle" on the lever is at the top of the sight.

Pull/swing the gas tube up from the back forward, be careful that the piston does not fly out! (Yay it's off now)

Now, flip over the rifle, and make use of the tools to remove the trigger. Push with the punch, on the small button behind the trigger guard, It takes a bit of a push, the trigger will pop out, and you can just pull it right on out.

Remove the magazine, it just pops right out.

Hooray, almost there

Now, turn the rifle over, it's time to remove the stock

Pivot the barrel downward (pivot point is the front end of the stock), Mine is a bitch, and is very snug, it takes a little wrestling/elbow grease to get it out, also I remove the cleaning rod and pull the bayonet out before pivoting the barrel.

Now it's all (not entirely) disassembled.

Put it back together in reverse order, and enjoy
