Man Bet - suggestions?

So me and my roommates are betting against another room: whichever room loses the most body fat and gains the most muscle in a month wins. The losers shave heads.

What suggestions do you have on how we should train? I'm already doing Rippetoe's, i figure we'll just eat at the maintenance level for the weight and bodyfat we want to be at long-term, and the people who really need significant weight loss will do more HIIT than those who don't.

Thoughts?

get hydrostatically tested at the beginning and end

its really fun and the most effective and not as expensive as most people thinking ($50pp the first time around here, 35 after)

its really a matter of how long you're going to do the competition for - velocity diet or similar will tear fat off of you but its a bitch to do

and expensive $$$$$

Just keep doing what you're doing. Be dedicated and lift hard.

Make sure all your other dudes are dedicated and disciplined.

If it's just a month, do a ketogenic diet.

Keep hitting up Ripp's and do some real intense cardio at the end of your lifting routine. I like to do heavy bag hitting and shadow boxing with weights...it's more fun for me, and it keeps me throwing punches hard and at high intensity. Just keep your diet in check, lift hard and do some intense cardio at the end...the above works for me, but sprinting is also good, and burpees are an effing killer. And don't neglect the ab workouts.
