if it ever does break or if you ever get tired of it, you should make your own. four lawnmower tires, two 1/2" x 8" hex bolts, the corresponding nuts and washers, hose clamps, and a lot of duct tape.

the end result should look like this

The advantage of this is that each arm is more independent of each other and you can progress to doing one armed variations.

just look up homemade ab wheels and you can find instructions anywhere

if you don't want to buy the materials, you can just use your barbell on 2.5 lb plates or dumbbells on the same plates, just don't clamp it too tight

How is your form? How long have you been lifting?

I liked using an ab wheel until I extended to the point where my bad shoulder popped out of socket. It's a reoccurring problem I've had with it when I move the shoulder certain ways, but the ab wheel otherwise was an awesome, awesome workout.

Yes, I've tried the ab-wheel.

The only exercises I do for my abs are squats and deads.

Mostly this. I have a very, very strong lower back and shoulders and the stress on them from the ab wheel was still in the "threatening severe injury" range.

I prefer front squats for abs.
