Anyone ever shipped a motorcycle?

I'll be moving to california in about a week and I would like to get my bike out there. Can't tow it out there with my car so that's out. I'm in Mi. btw.

I've looked at a few carriers and the prices are all about the same. $500 ish for terminal to terminal or $750 ish for door to door.

If anyone could offer any first hand experience or a good company to go with that would be awesome.

Have you tried uship.com?

I also know people that just packed their bikes away in the box truck along with the rest of their stuff.

That would work great except I'm not taking a box truck. I'll check out uship.com. Thanks.

not really, although it depends on how much stuff. I rode across the country on a CBR929RR.
