Exactly, tax weight not displacement....

taxing displacement is fucking retarded

Remember that thread I made about all BMWs going turbo after 2012? It's because of CAFE requirements. Basically they have to.

It may vary from state to state, but at least in NM, the vehicle's weight is factored into registration costs, so in a sense, I'm already taxed on weight.

What makes more sense is a tax on weight multiplied by distance traveled, so that if, like me, you only go 2000 miles in a year in the car, you don't see the same road tax as Soccer Mom in her "Hello Kitty"-pink hummer, who puts on 18,000 miles in a year.

I hate the Clubman, but it's not a minivan in any way.

Fanboys and haters aside, I do have to say that it looks pretty good....much better than some of the ugly ducklings they put out in the mid 00's.

That x10. I think there's some impact from vehicle weight in CA, but very little... They fall into classes and just about everyone makes it into "passenger" which is up to 6000lbs or some shit idk...

I like it. The 1-series is really messed up so I was a little afraid for the new F30 generation.

I really like how they've kept the side sills fairly low. Cars nowadays are designed such that you can't see out of them anymore. The hood is a little high, though.

Not really cars are designed so you CAN see out of them, especially today... Maybe not by chrysler

Honda, BMW, etc all have very good visibility.

Clubman is not a minivan you tool

Have you seen the size of it? It's just a mini with a larger cargo area
