Green deck for the win.

For the online play, anyone know why I am fucking getting kicked within 2 seconds of joining a match every single time?

I'm really liking it so far, the tutorial is decent, it seems like someone may have finally made a decent MT:G computer game.

MTGO is an abortion (despite all the cards I own)

I know the interface in MTGO sucks, but hows the gameplay?

Gameplay is fine tbh, the interface is just so clunky and poorly written.

How do you "expand"? Will they keep feeding DLC? If its not ridiculously expensive and new DLC doesn't completely outclass old DLC on a monthly basis I'll probably pick this up.

During during middle and highschool I spent pretty much every penny I could on Star Wars: CCG. Never owned my own magic cards but played with friends' decks. Total sucker for CCGs but now I see their costs

WOTC's "ban sets from tournament after a year" is the only reason I don't play Magic IRL. If there was another widespread, active community CCG that didn't pull that shit I'd probably play it.

Uh yeah, nice that there is a demo.

Any idea why it uses a constant 80-90% CPU on an i7 920? I mean honestly, its nice that its multithreaded and all, but come on.
How would this play on a laptop's ulv c2d?

Bad port? Ports usually get shit for support/patches, I'll probably pass on this.

The cpu usage is a known issue that i'm sure will get patched. My c2d e6600 has no problem running this. It's a fun $9.99 game, not much room for complaints.

I was playing this just fine on my netbook earlier tonight, turned down some of the pretties.

What I don't really know is how ingame you manage your decks and whatnot better. It's still MT:G, and its pretty fun, I found the puzzles to be more interesting than the deck unlock matches

I think all you can do as far as editing is pull cards out into your side deck, which then increases the number of lands you carry and vice versa.

Is this the same version thats on the consoles currently? I've heard so many good things about it but I have never played a card based game. Its on sale on XBLA right now for like $5 so I'm tempted.

From reading the steam forums, apparently it has some gamecrash bug that the xbla version also has. Safe bet its the same thing.

Used to play MTG a long time ago and kind of missed playing it, this is a very nice substitute to the real thing. I bought it from steam late last night on impulse and ended up staying up until about 5am playing it

Is there a way to make it go a little faster? I feel like there are some unnecessary wait times. I turned off the battle animations and turned on some of the smart auto-skip but its still click click click continue next next continue.

No way to make it faster that I could see.

Imagine if you could customize your decks in this game, that would be epic. It's the only thing I feel is missing from this, still good without it though.
