I hate PC shit

well fuck me in the ass, shot 50 flawless rounds of .38 special, loaded up 5 rounds of .357 and found out the motherfucking frame is bent and won't allow the camber to rotate. Gotta wait til tomorrow to take it back to the shop I bought it at.

The 2 .357's I did get off pack quite a bit more punch than the .38 specials

Only other 2 reasons now is you were shooting loads that were way too hot, or you had one serious motherufcking defect.

The .38 specials were winchesters the guy at the gunshop recommended and the .357s were 125 grain Remington. Taurus recomends 125.

I belive it is a defect because the .38's were like shooting a Paintball gun compared to the 2 .357's I got off.

yeah, what he said. Wow.

My friend shot a WAAY too hot load once and the cartridge actually shot back and jammed itself between the frame and the cylinder and locked the hammer down.
You gotta watch those hotloads, mang

Edit: Wow, only 125gr? My buddy was shooting 155gr .357's without a hiccup! Take the gun back or call Taurus, that's crazy...

*minimum 125

I'm taking it back to the shop today. There is no way in hell the .38's did anything. and after the first .357 fired the camber just wouldn't spin. oh well. My family has bought multiple fire arms from the shop and I'm sure they will take care of me.

This is why I got the Ruger SP101- it isn't pleasant to shoot .357 with a snub nosed, but the Ruger is as reliable as S&W's J Frame revolvers despite its dimunitive size.

ok. talked to a guy at Taurus. I didn't mention someone thought the frame was bent. The guy on the phone said to fire some 158 grain .357's because for whatever reason the Remington 125 grain I got are too light for the particular model I got. I'll give this a try and if it doesn't work he said to call him back and they'll take care of it.

You know what? The Taurus guy's are cool. I like how they are giving you an option because im sure no one likes to ship their gun off and want it to be able to shoot right away.

But this is a gun, and i would want it fixed to fire whatever i throw in it. and a "kinda sorta bent frame" that will still shoot certain .357's would definitely not give me much confidence. I say send it back. Most of the time i hear Taurus will just ship you a brand new gun rather than fix yours

thinking back, the guy at the range was a bit of a tool. i'm going to head out to a different range a week from monday and try it again, if not i'll send it back.

Last night I got quite a bit more insight on why it had jammed.
We shout all .38specials
I took a girl for her first time and when we got down to our last 10 rounds her hand was getting tired and started half pulling the trigger and that's why it was not rotating after i was shooting. My had had gotten tired and when I switch to the 357s I mentally got nervous of the more powerful round.

Also girl liked 20ga more than the revolver. She wants to go back.
