Combination of condom + pulling out works fine.

Other than that, a vasectomy or the manpill that's in the works.

Here's a question:

Is there any increased risk of pregnancy if you take your pills like this:

When I am on my period, I only take the period pills until my period stops. Then I start taking regular hormone pills again, even though there may be remaining sugar pills (such as my period lasts for 5 instead of the allotted seven). I figure this is just adjusting to my cycle. I don't want to be taking sugar pills if I am two days into my ovulation cycle again.

But, is this is a bad idea? Does it actually increase my risk?

girl-aflame: what you suggest shouldn't change the effectiveness of the pills... but it might shorten your menstrual cycle over time. By moving back on to the hormone pills two days early, you skip two days of the 28-day ideal - you're back on to placebos after the allotted 21 hormone pills, giving a 26-day cycle. You might find with time that this gets shorter.

In a nutshell: you are not changing the risk of pregnancy either way BUT there may be other health implications. I would recommend sticking to the 28-day ideal unless you clear it with your ob/gyn.

It should also be noted that Anit-Biototics can decrease the effectiveness of most forms of hormonal birth control (Pill, patch, ring....shot?)

And that one should use a form of physical barrier contriceptive durring the course of the Anti-Biotics and up to 7 days after.

Giving yourself a 26-day cycle means your period will be more often (a 28-day cycle means approx. 13 periods/year, and a 26-day cycle means 14 periods/year) and why would any girl want to have extra periods?

Yeah there are equivalents. I guess I'll have to go down to the Docs with her.
I just wanted a quick answer to the question!

http://www.consumerreports.org/main/...3Ecnt_id=19263

based on that report, the top 2 are the durex extra sensitive, and the durex performax condoms.

does anyone have any experience wiht the condoms that have a "numbing" lubricant, i know it doesnt mean litterally 'whered my dick go' numbing, but does it work? is it weird?

also, my friend recommended i use condoms + the spermicide film stuff, together its a pretty safe measure right? and when using them together, how safe is it to just not pull out until your definately done and jizzed all up in there (with the condom on) ??

you're talking jizz (in condom), then wait a min or so, then pull out? long as the condom didn't break, you could keep it there all night (though I wouldn't reccomend it)

well, best I could tell you would be to read the directions, look at the diagrams (if there are any), and try to emulate that as best you can. Other than that, I don't know
