"V"-slingshot enhanced!

The "V" with its pulley based self centering system is still one of my most popular designs. But it has two drawbacks:

- The grip is edgy and not very ergo-like
- The fork is narrow, if you don't watch your angles you can hit a fork arm

So I have modified it!

I had this name since 1796.

Neat but it looks like your hand is a little close to the path of the sling, arent you worried it will hit your hand when shooting?

No... that is impossible, the vectors just don't allow such a downwards deviation of the projectile.

A low fork means no wrist strain.

Of course in a country where you can shoot with firearms in the open and also legally carry it, a slingshot has only a few advantages left. Namely the inexpensive ammo and the silent operation.

But in most countries, firearms can't be carried and you can only fire at a range or - if you have a license - in your hunting grounds.

In some countries, slingshots are the ONLY option (like in the UK), all other serious weapons are a no-no.

And of course if you expect to be involved in a gunfight, you better buy and carry the very best guns you can find. I, for one, prefer not to go to places where gunfights may occur.
