Awesome video. That straight at Miller is ridiculously long.

Here's a short video from Sunday I just found:

http://mtpalomarphoto.com/video.php?...011-125331.jpg

Haha yeah it's crazy..literally on the limiter in 6th before getting on the brakes. Miller has a lot of crazy high speed corners too, places where you're tapped in 4th or 5th and dragging knee.

It's a short clip but looking good dude.. smooth controls and good body position

God damn that sounds awesome. I have a few friends who have made the trek from SoCal -> Miller, but I haven't had a chance to get out there yet.

Also, uploaded a 1080p HD version of the above clip.

If you're going to make the trip, wait until they're running the full track configuration. 3+ minute lap times are pretty crazy lol

I wanna get a bike/scooter for stop-go traffic for my daily commute. I have just got my license, so I know I will be dropping the bike. What do you recommend?

I was thinking the Aprilia Sportcity 250 scoot for $3000 on sale. Maybe the Honda CBR250R? I think with stop and go, fuel injected and automatic would be easier.

Thoughts?

What are your thoughts on Dainese jackets?

If you don't plan on doing any highway riding, the Honda Ruckus is a pretty sweet little scoot. Very affordable too.

So I bought a motorcycle going on about 3-4 years now. 01 F4i. I finally moved somewhere that I have access to a garage and here is how she sits at the moment.

Fun.

In case anyone is wondering, there isnt anything wrong with her (aside from denting both rims by hitting a huge pothole on an off ramp) to warrant this but it was in dire need of major tune up, so doing a lot at once.

The list so far

spark plugs
air filter
oil/filter
coolant
brake pads/full bleed
manual cct
new front rim
new rear rim with low mileage stock sprocket/cush drive and new rear rotor

I'm also going to fix all the fairings, and paint it satin red.

Nice, I'm a big fan of the F4i; it was just such a great bike at blurring the lines between 600cc sportbike and commuter compromises.

I've had it for about 12k miles now. aside from the rectifier going and adding a new chain, I havent done a thing else.
