Crkt folders have hinges that will blow apart easily. if you have one handy, open it and attempt to bend the blade. i'm willing to bet the threads will strip and the blade will separate from the handle.

Ive had a Kershaw Ken Onion Leek for almost 2 years, It seems to hold an edge nice and Ive had no issues with the swing assist. but the great thing is it feels good in your pocket, its not bulky or uncomfortable to have either clipped or just floating in the pocket with my keys. Ive had it camping many times, dropped in the mud, fell out of my pocket at the beach, fell off the table into a pot of chili, and every time I let it dry and clean it up and its like new.
