Scion TC

I'm thinking of getting a TC. Just wondering if anyone besides DuMa has one. IF so, how are they? They look stylish as hell and seem to be good on gas and all. just looking for some feedback.

Its your average, cheap, bandwagon econobox. Its going to prove to be highly reliable, a good gas saver, a good all around deal.

Even after all of that, I still enjoy the fact I can drive my 70 miles a day and not see another car just like mine.

Cute looking, good gas mileage, fun to drive. A bit underpowered, but a good ride.

Comparable to new Tiburon

EDIT: which I personally think is nicer. TC is everywhere in NoVA and everyone driving one looks like an asshat High-Schooler (no offense to those here who drive one).

go with tc if you are planning to do upgrades with it. its easy as hell to do mods to it. the engine bay has a lot of space for turbo or supercharger. the radio is like an aftermarket HU. and easily replaced as well. im planning to put a carputer in it someday. try replacing the radio in the mazda 3 its not as easy as the tc.the suspension and the fat and the mileage is the worst thing about the tc. im doing suspension upgrades right now and the next year hopefully getting a turbo or supercharger. the tc is like a blank canvas, its dying to be modded.

if you're not modding much or want a 4 door. go with a mazda 3.

The only problems I am having with my tC are:

Some cheap plastic (but what car at it's price doesn't have cheap plastic?)
Horn is easy to push, I sometimes push it by accident. But the steering wheel is comfortable
The stock tires suck (Potenza RE92), but scion have upgraded them on the new ones so no worries.
A little rattling but it's not horrible.
The gas milage leaves much to be desired. I get about 30mpg on highway driving and I average about 25-27mpg as I do a lot of city driving.

well i do love the tc;s look. the mazda really doesn;t apeal to me. I do like to cobalt though. Are they like really new? So people really don;t have good feed back on them so far? I'm stuck between them at this point. I heard the tc had a good radio and speakers. MAybe i heard wrong.

30/25 mpg leaves a lot to be desired? Damn... if I get half that in my Pathfinder I'm a happy guy.
